Good to know.

Can it book a roof inspection?
Yes. Add it as a service with your price and how long it takes, and it books it into your real availability with the address and postcode, and notes how high the property is and whether the problem is visible from the ground.
What about water coming through a ceiling?
Write in your setup notes which jobs are urgent for you, such as an active leak, and it takes the address and what the caller can see and gets it to you straight away, by live transfer or by text and email. It does not advise the caller on what to do inside the house.
Can callers send photos of the damage?
Not to Ringmere. It cannot receive photos on a call, and on WhatsApp it cannot look at one. It notes that the caller has photos, so you can ask for them when you ring back.
Will it quote for a new roof?
No. It never prices work nobody has looked at. It takes the type of roof, the size of the property and the address, and books a survey visit if you offer one, so you arrive knowing what you are quoting for.
Does it handle insurance jobs?
It takes the insurer’s name and any claim reference the caller has, and passes the job to you. It never advises on whether damage is covered or how to make a claim.
