The AI receptionist that books into Google Calendar.

Ringmere answers the call, checks when you are really free, and puts the appointment in your Google Calendar before the caller hangs up. Included on every plan.

Ringmere connects to Google Calendar so its AI receptionist can book appointments during a phone call. It checks your live availability first, so it will not offer a slot that is already taken, then creates the event with the customer’s name, number and notes. Reschedules and cancellations made on a call update the same event. It is included on every plan, from £49 a month.

How it works

Connected in a minute, working on the next call.

Connect your Google account

In Settings, open Calendar and sign in with Google. Ringmere asks Google for two calendar permissions: read access, which it uses to see when you are busy, and permission to manage events, which it uses only for the bookings it makes.

It checks before it offers

On every call it reads your live busy times and offers only slots that are free, inside your opening hours, with your buffers and minimum notice applied. It checks again at the moment of booking.

The booking lands in your diary

The event appears with the service and the customer’s name in the title, and their phone number and any notes in the description. If the notes include a UK postcode, it becomes the event location, ready for directions.

What it does

  • Books, reschedules and cancels during the call, and keeps the Google event in step each time.
  • Reads other calendars as busy time too. If another app writes your jobs into a second Google calendar, as the booking app Goldie does, tick that calendar and Ringmere will work around those jobs as well. You can tick up to 25.
  • Keeps a travel gap. The buffer you set on a service is also kept clear either side of jobs in those other calendars, so you are not booked back to back across town.
  • Respects a minimum notice, so nobody books a slot twenty minutes from now while you are on another job.
  • Adds a Google Meet link to each booking, if you switch that on.

Good to know

  • It sees when you are busy, not what you are doing. On your main calendar Ringmere reads free and busy times only. On the extra calendars you tick, it uses only each event’s start and end time.
  • It fails safe. If a calendar cannot be read, Ringmere offers no times rather than risk a double booking, carries on answering and taking messages, and emails you so you can reconnect.
  • One Google calendar per business. Bookings are written to your main calendar. Staff hours and who can do which service are handled inside Ringmere, and more than one staff diary needs Growth or Pro.
  • No Google Calendar? Ringmere has its own built-in diary and books against that instead.
  • Your Google sign-in is never shared with our AI provider, the stored token is encrypted, and disconnecting deletes it at once. The detail is in our privacy policy.

Questions

Google Calendar, plainly answered.

Does Ringmere work with Google Calendar?
Yes, on every plan. Connect your Google account in Settings and the AI receptionist books appointments straight into your calendar during the call, after checking your live availability.
Can it double-book me?
It is built not to. It reads your live busy times before offering a slot and checks again at the moment of booking. If your calendar cannot be read at all, it stops offering times rather than guessing, and emails you.
I use a booking app that syncs to Google Calendar. Will Ringmere see those bookings?
Yes, if they land in a Google calendar on the account you connect. Tick that calendar under “Also check these calendars for busy time” and Ringmere treats those bookings as busy. New bookings from Ringmere are written to your main calendar.
Does it work with Outlook or Microsoft 365?
Not yet. Google Calendar is the only calendar Ringmere connects to today. Without it, Ringmere books against its own built-in diary, which you manage from your dashboard.
What can Ringmere see in my calendar?
When you are busy. On your main calendar it reads free and busy times, not the content of your appointments. It only ever creates, changes or cancels its own bookings, and never edits your other events.
